Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better known by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular due to her appearance in the BBC science fiction TV series Doctor Who. Gugu scored a huge hit on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu's fans loved her spontaneity and she was soon getting ready for a long-lasting acting career. She has also worked in several different British stage and television productions to date. Critics have praised her for her performance of "Belle" (2013), an English period drama, as well as "Beyond the Lights" the romantic comedy. She's also appeared in the Tom Hanks-produced comedy "Larry Crowne and also on TV shows like "Undercover" and "Touch. Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975 and was born in Livingston New Jersey. She was born the youngest of three children in a big family. Handler was the child of a salesman and housewife. Her mother is a German who came into the United States from Germany in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in 1989. Handler died 10 years following her battle with cancer. Handler grew up in an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was raised in a lovely neighborhood and enjoyed a happy childhood. In her early twenties, Handler relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler worked as an actor in order to support her family. Handler began to do stand-up comedian full-time when she turned 21. Handler had realized that she was gifted with story telling. Handler's career started as an actress on an all-female cast on the Oxygen channel's reality TV series Girls acting poorly. The show featured an amalgamation of cameras hidden in the background and funny humor. This show aired between 2002 and 2005. The handler went on to work in various other shows, including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice as well as Weekends at D.L. Handler also began working as an associate to The Tonight Show. Her breakthrough came in 2006, when she began hosting her program on E! The show was called Chelsea Handler. The show lasted 2 seasons. Handler was a part of the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the following season throughout the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have aired Handler's stand-up performances. In 2010 it was confirmed that she would be hosting at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards.
