Anne-Marie Duff was born in London, England. She is a famous English actor. Following her graduation from Drama Centre London Duff made TV appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats in the late 1990s. Anne-Marie Duff, a British actress was born in Chiswick on the 8th of October, 1970. Anne-Marie Duff (8 October 1970) was an English screen and stage actress. Her first fame was for her role as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006), she played the role of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2015, the series From Darkness featured her as the leading role. Duff is known for her role in Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014), and Suffragette. Suffragette (2015). Virgin Queen, Shameless The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy, Suffragette and The Last Station have earned her BAFTA nominations for Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actress. The History of Mr Polly (2007) was her BAFTA Cymru Award winning performance as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff has been a popular award-winning English Actress who created her own mark on stage, radio and television. Her fame was largely due to her role in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama television series Shameless and as the role of Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen. Anne Marie is now an accomplished theatre actor after more than a decade of stage work and has also worked with The Royal National Theatre.
