Morgan appeared in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS Education and Prevention. Some of the proceeds were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects, and she also testified at a special Congressional panel on AIDS awareness. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place at AIDS activities. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline in relation to AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. In the spring, she starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer started by presenting Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. Morgan's next production took her to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been the only actress to appear in the psychological thriller of USA Network that earned some of most impressive ratings this network's had.
